This is vintage software, originally intended for Apple Macintosh Mac OS X 10.4.11 and OS X v10.5.6 or later – It might work as-is on newer versions of Mac OS X. With an update from Apple, downloadable HERE, it can work on newer versions of Mac OS X, including Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4, and possibly later versions of Mac OS X as well. It definitely will not on run on Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina or later, due to the fact that 32-bit apps are not supported on Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina, or any version that came out after that. This version of the iWork suite is handy, because it will open older files that were created using iWork 06 and iWork 08. The description on the box states: “Opens Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files (Office Open XML and earlier formats); AppleWorks word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet files; and other common document and media formats. Saves files in Microsoft Office, PDF, and other common document formats.” (Please note that the Microsoft Office file compatibility they refer to might be limited to Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 file formats (with the update from Apple referenced above?) or earlier.
